"The wine actually tasted bad"
I was hoping it would be decent, but the wine actually tasted really bad to me. I couldn’t enjoy it and probably wouldn’t buy it again.

"I ordered a case from splashwines.com..."
I ordered a case from splashwines.com, and the whole delivery process just left me feeling annoyed. The delivery date kept shifting, the tracking barely changed, and it looked like the order was just sitting there for days with no real explanation.
I ended up having to chase it myself, which made it even more frustrating because I still didn’t get a clear answer. The wine might be perfectly fine, but the delivery experience made me lose confidence, and I don’t think I’d order again.

"Confusing updates and not much help"
I ordered from Splash Wines and the wine itself was fine, but the whole process around the order was more confusing than it needed to be. The emails seemed to say one thing, the tracking showed something else, and I couldn’t tell what was going on or when to expect my delivery.

When I reached out to support, the response felt like a generic copy-and-paste answer and didn’t really address what I asked. I don’t think they’re a terrible company, but as a customer, I think it’s only fair to expect clear updates and a straight answer when something is confusing. I probably wouldn’t order again unless they improve that.

"Changing my subscription was a pain"

The box was crushed when it arrived. The bottles were rattling around inside too, so it didn’t feel like they were packed very securely.

I gave Splash Wines a try once, that was enough for me. The wines just weren’t to my taste, and after having to explain that more than once, it got frustrating. I don’t see myself ordering from them again.

"Wrong wines delivered and a policy excuse"
I was really disappointed with this order. The bottles that showed up weren’t the wines I picked at all, and when I reached out, it felt like they just kept pointing to their policy instead of actually trying to fix the mistake. I get that rules exist, but it’s frustrating when I didn’t receive what I ordered in the first place.

I tried ordering from SplashWines and got impatient fast. The pages were slow, the cart kept shifting around, and I had to click the same things more than once before anything actually worked.

Using it on my phone didn’t help either. The filters felt clunky, checkout was all over the place, and I just wanted to buy some wine without messing around forever. I ended up giving up...

"Ended Up Disappointed"
In the end, I wouldn’t buy these again. I opened the bottles hoping they’d be decent, but the wine tasted stale, old, and kind of flat. Just not enjoyable at all.

"Couldn’t really customize my case"
I ordered from SplashWines because I thought I’d be able to really build my own case and switch things around. Nope. Once I got into the options, it felt a lot more limited than I expected.

I tried to swap out a few bottles I wasn’t interested in, but it just wasn’t very smooth or flexible. Maybe I missed something, but it felt more like choosing from a preset box than actually customizing. Frustrating.

Shipping was fine and the wine itself was okay, so no huge disaster there. Meh. But customization was the main reason I ordered, and since that didn’t really deliver, I probably won’t order again unless they improve that part.

"The wines didn’t taste consistent to me"
I tried the same wines a few times, but they seemed to taste different each time. Maybe it was just my palate or the setting, but I didn’t feel like the flavor was very consistent.

"They made the refund way harder than it should’ve been"
I asked for a refund they made the whole thing way more frustrating than it needed to be. I kept having to check back because nothing was clear, and it felt like they were just dragging it out instead of actually helping. Maybe other people had a smoother experience, but for me, this refund process was a mess and definitely left a bad taste...

"Not really the spot for rare bottles"
I stopped in hoping to find a few harder-to-track-down wines, since I’m particular about what I’m looking for when I’m shopping for my own collection. The selection was more basic than I expected, with a lot of bottles I’ve seen at plenty of other shops.
If you just need some affordable everyday wines or a mixed case, it might be totally fine. But for my standards, especially when I’m looking for something unique or a little special, it wasn’t worth the trip.

"Rewards don’t really add up"
I’ve ordered a few times now, and the rewards program just doesn’t really make it make sense for me. The points take forever to build up, and the offers I get aren’t usually anything I’d actually use. The wine itself is fine, but the loyalty perks don’t feel rewarding enough to make me excited to come back.

One of the bottles showed up cracked and leaking all over the place. I sent them photos like they asked, but the replies were slow and mostly sounded like copy-paste customer service lines. No real solution, no straight answer, just polished wording that didn’t actually help. felt like they were hoping I’d get tired and drop it.

"Not impressed with the reds"
I ordered a mixed case, the red wines were a letdown. A few of them tasted kind of thin and flat, with not much going on in terms of fruit or depth. Maybe it was just bad luck with this case, but for the price, I was expecting a lot better. I don’t think I’d order the reds again.

"Tracking was a mess"
Well... my order was supposed to show up days ago, but the tracking updates made no sense. One minute it said it was out for delivery, then suddenly it was delayed with no explanation. I kept checking over and over and still had no idea where my package actually was. it was annoying and not something I’d want to go through again.

I tried to pay twice and the checkout froze both times. There wasn’t even a clear error message, it just sat there and wasted my time. I was trying to get this done quickly before heading out, but dealing with this ended up throwing off my plans. Really frustrating.
